This is a tier list. Again its most similar to the lanius a and the slug c the two other ships in ftl that also start with hacking.

Ftl drone tier list. This is not an alignment chart. Basically defence drones are great as they protect you from missiles and save you on repairs. Now despite everything just mentioned this ship is still above average on the tier list and thats because the hacking drone control combination truly does offer a lot of value. Its a surprisingly small tweak because of how limited you are but it makes the ship so much more fun to play. Starting weapons can only be found aboard the ship that has them i include crystal weapons because getting to the crystal sector to buy them is an extremely rare and difficult. Is how i would rate them.
The one exception in amazing tier would be the pike beam and thats because its fairly easy to get something to break through shields and the trade off is immense. Faster than light drone tier list. The weapons at the top of the list are consistently effective in almost any ship set up. Yes i know im years late but i only really got into ftl a year ago and i finally feel ive played it enough to create my own weapon tiers. Since ftl is a game of rng you want to minimize any variance as much as possible.
